Do you know of an outstanding school psychologist or an individual with distinguished service to the profession of school psychology in California? CASP recognizes these individuals through the Nadine Lambert Outstanding School Psychologist Award and the Sandra Goff Memorial Award.

Only one school psychologist per region can be awarded the OSP award and the Sandra Goff Memorial Award is given to a single recipient for the year.

The 2008 Outstanding School Psychologist from Region II area was Jennifer Simmons who is employed at the Diagnostic Center of Northern California.

The 2008 Sandra Goff Memorial Award recipient was Judith McBride, formerly of Long Beach.

Other members of SCCASP who were recipients of the Outstanding School Psychologist Award were Jennifer Rocabado (2007), Connie Hilton (2005), Mydzung Bui (2003), Rose Dumond (2000), and Ariela Harber (1999).

The deadline for nominations for either award is December 9th.

The results of the selection are kept confidential until the award is announced at a general session of the CASP
Convention; the awards are presented at the Presidential/Awards Luncheon at the 2009 CASP convention.
